Big Brother: Day 37
Do you remember "The Generation Game"? You know when they used to get experts in to demonstrate something like ... oooh... Irish Dancing?... and then the contestants had to try and do their version which was always so bad, it was nothing like the professionals. Didn't you think last night's Riverdance effort from the housemates was a bit like that??
SO SO BAD! I always thought the art of Irish dancing was down to keeping the upper half of your body completely still, whilst your legs and feet do all the work. Could someone tell Rex please? He was just, well ... dancing ... like someone at an 80s disco! And as for the drummers - don't even get me started. It's the only time I've heard Big Brother announce the result to the housemates and instead of giving exact statistics, just said "we lost count of the number of mistakes". Love it! So next week, unsurprisingly, they'll be on basic rations after failing miserably.
Tonight is eviction night, and it's proving a tough one to call. I wonder if the prediction in my last blog is going to be my first failure of the series. Mario is currently the bookies favourite to go, but even the housemates are unsure. Dale, Darnell, Luke and Rex took a stroll around the garden in the early hours of this morning and admitted they're stumped. In the eyes of the public, Mario isn't making himself very popular (particularly after his confrontation with Belinda Belinda Belinda) and we haven't seen so much of Bouncy Bex, so we'll have to wait and see what happens later. Check back here in the morning for my post-eviction thoughts!
Finally, a few personal messages to the house from me:
SARA: Please stop flirting with anyone and everyone. You're getting Mikey too excited.
LUKE: You used to be one of my faves, but if you don't stop bad-mouthing your "mates" behind their back, you'll be facing an angry crowd when you leave.
MAYSOON: Who? Forgotten she's even in there.
KAT: Go on, tell us more words you've learnt. We love it. It makes for a happy happy Beale house.
LISA: It pains me to say it, but you're turning into one of the most normal ones in there. You'll be better when/if Mario's gone.
Have a good Friday.
Simon
