Day 45: Bye Bye Belinda

A Big Brother "bye bye" to Belinda Belinda Belinda. Last night, she became the 5th person to be evicted from this year's house, gaining 65% of the vote and having only stayed for a fortnight. She'd barely unpacked her bag.

The housemates will no doubt be relieved that the Queen Of Snoring and Bad Jazz Singing has made her exit. They might get a decent night's sleep for once. Altogether now ... shoo-be-doo, doo-wap-be-doo, booooooo, sho-be-doo-wah-yeh (fade to end). As she left, she lapped up the "paps" and seemed to enjoy having her photo taken before heading to the interview studio with Davina. She also seemed remarkably upbeat and did her best to persuade everyone in the audience to enter Big Brother next year, saying it was the most incredible experience ever. To be fair, I would be up for it if it only lasted 2 weeks... not 13.

By the way, could we just take a moment to update my (rather impressive) prediction scoreboard?! What's that I see? Another win? (Please don't mention last week's...thanks). No really...hold back your applause!

So what else to mention? Well, if you downloaded my "Tour Of The House" podcast at the start of the series, you would've heard me try out what has now been revealed as the Luxury Jail in the garden. It's a small glass surrounded cubicle where heavenly housemates go to be punished. The seats are pretty comfy, it's warm, it's quiet and to be honest, if Belinda WAS still in the house you might want to sit in the Luxury Jail just to block out the singing.   

Finally, brace yourself for a new head of house this weekend, who will no doubt get to pick who should be the heavenly housemates next week and who should live in hell. To me, living in hell isn't dependent on which side of the divide you are ... it's all to do with if Bex is on the same side as you!
