Bus strike - Friday 29th August  

Potential strike action by members of the Unite union could affect First London bus services on Friday 29 August:

Blackfriars Underground station closure

Blackfriars Underground station, which is on the District and Circle Lines, is to close from 2 March 2009 until late 2011 as part of Network Rail's Thameslink upgrade programme.

Transport for London are advising that you use Temple or Mansion House stations instead.

The overground station is to remain open during these upgrade works.

ROADWORKS 

M1, there are long term roadworks between, Junction 6a, M25 and Junction 9, A5. There's also a 50mph speed limit in place.

M11, the exit slip roads are closed at Junction 8, Stanstead Airport because of roadworks.

M11, there are long term roadworks in both directions between Junction 8, Stanstead Airport and Junction 9, A11.

M25, the anti-clockwise entry slip road is closed at Junction 8, Reigate because of roadworks.

M25, the anti-clockwise entry slip road is closed at Junction 15, M4 because of roadworks.

M25, the anti-clockwise exit slip road is closed at Junction 18, Chorelywood because of resurfacing works.

M3, eastbound is closed between Junction 3, Lightwater and Juntion 1, Sunbury Cross because of roadworks.

M4, there are narrow lanes in both directions, because of bridge maintenance works at Junction 6, Slough / Windsor.

The A1(M) is closed southbound between Junction 4, A414 and Junction 2, Welham Green because of roadworks. 

In Kensington, A315 Kensington Road is closed westbound, between Scotch Corner and Exhibition Road, because of resurfacing works.

In Euston, Eversholt Street is closed southbound, between the A501 Euston Road and Oakley Square, because of roadworks.
