New Nightmare Movie Plan

Freddy Krueger is coming back.

The Nightmare On Elm Street franchise is getting a reboot 25 years after the first film – which starred a then unknown Johnny Depp – was released in 1984.

There is no word yet if original director Wes Crave will be involved.

According to reports coming out of the US, the new project will keep the high school setting and “delve deeper in the psychology of nightmares and Krueger himself”.

Expect the movie to hit cinemas towards the end of next year.
