Hello and thanks for checking out my page.
I'm Neil and have been on the radio all over this fine country of ours for around 15 years. I'll save you the boring part of where and when, the most important thing is that I'm now here on Heart 106.2 with you!
What you want to know is what I like doing, what I spend my money on and what films are in my DVD collection. (See I can read you like a book!)
The first thing you need to know is that I'm a person who's addicted to 'Fads'. Anything that's new will get my full attention for a couple of weeks, then I'll put it down and move on to the next thing (I know, typical man!). But there are some things that remain constant in my life like music producing, blogging, DJing in clubs, gadgets, playing poker and taking my wife to the shops (joke!).
Yes you did spot 'wife' in the last sentence. I got married in 2006 to my soulmate and even though we argue like nothing else, we always remain the best of friends. If you fancy seeing any of the pictures from the big day, just have a look at my blog.
I'm a sucker for 80's movies and when I got a copy of 'Silver Streak' with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor for Christmas, I had to stick it on straight away. Ah those memories of when I break-danced, rode my BMX and didn't have a care in the world just flooded right back. (Bit selfish of me as that was the first present I'd opened and I made everybody wait another two hours before they could open any of theirs! Oh no I've just worked out I'm a control freak too, the shame of it!)
More about Neil
What’s been your most embarrassing moment on air?
Saying to Madonna: ‘I’ve just bought a BMX at 30…oh and I Breakdance’ - not a good move! She was great though.
Who would be your fantasy celebrity interview?
I
would have said Madonna, but luckily I got the chance a few years back.
I’ve also become friends with others like David Morales (Grammy award
winning producer for Mariah Carey) so I’ll have to go with someone
who’ll I never meet. How about James Brown. He's just an incredible
performer with a really colourful past. Imagine all the stuff you could have
talked about!
