What type of film is it? Drama
Is it any good? Some critics have been going crazy over this movie and it has already won a stack of awards around the world. It looks amazing, the casting is spot on and the direction can’t be faulted – so why did it leave me cold? Artistically this is a great film but it’s not one you can “enjoy”. A great exercise in film making, but not entertaining as such due to the tough dialogue and gritty premise. A serious film about serious times, creatively absolute genius but as far as I’m concerned, a film lacking a real heart.
