Hollywood Star Walk Revamp

Hollywood's Walk of Fame is getting a multi-million dollar makeover.

Hundreds of stars are to get cleaned up as part of the operation plus cracks will be repaired and holes filled ahead of the 50th anniversary of the tourist attraction.

Booze brand Absolut Vodka will also get a star as it becomes the first corporate sponsor of the Walk Of Fame.

According to insiders, around 778 of the pink and bronze star-shaped plaques along 2 1/2 miles of sidewalk in and around Hollywood Boulevard need replacing.
