What type of film is it? Dramedy
Is it any good? If you want a film that will tug at the heart strings while making you laugh too, this is for you. However, some people will be put off by the rather darker tones and subject matter. It’s all too rare an occasion that you get two huge talents as Jack and Morgan on screen together and they spar nicely in this – although the script can get a bit too worthy and sentimental bordering on cheesy every now and again which means it drops marks. On the whole though, it’s enjoyable stuff. If you like films like Beaches and Steel Magnolias you will lap this up.
