Is it any good? It’s excellent. Not a fan of the last Batman movie - Batman Begins – I was a little bit nervous about this but it really is a great and hugely entertaining film… if a bit long with too many "endings". Although this film has been overshadowed by the death of Heath, who is excellent and dare I say iconic as the Joker (maybe even better than Jack Nicholson in the 1989 version), this is a film that should be remembered for its greatness. Check out The Joker dressed as a nurse... not a great bedside manner! It is dark, in places violent (so bear that in mind if you are taking the kids) and often quite cerebral, however this is a film worth seeing even if it isn’t usually your kind of film. It looks amazing, but if you get the chance to see it on an IMAX screen rather than a regular cinema screen then do. It is well worth it and literally blow you away. Roll on the third Batman movie.
