Who's in it? Mark Wahlberg, Zooey Deschanel, John Leguizamo
What's it about? Something supernatural is making people take their own lives, but why and what is it?
What type of film is it? Thriller
Is it any good? It’s okay. What starts off as a tense and genuinely chilling film gradually loses its pace to leave a film with too many lost opportunities. What doesn’t help is some seriously bad dialogue which actually had some critics at the screening I went to in stitches. The lead cast are far too relaxed and almost dazed in their performances which really doesn’t help. The cause? I won’t spoil it but it’s not the director’s finest hour. Shame really as it started so strongly.
