Transformers Breaks Records

It’s not even out in the UK yet but Transformers has already become the top selling title of 2007.

The movie – based on the hit 80s cartoon series – has even beaten the likes of Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, The Simpsons Movie and Spider-Man 3, shifting 8.3 million units in the US alone.

Transformers – already the biggest grossing original (that’s non sequel) film of the year – sold 4.5 million units on its first day of release in the US last month.

Earning over $700 million at the global box office, Transformers will his shelves in the UK on December 3.
